This Privacy Policy describes how Mind Droplet ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information. Our core principle is that your thoughts are yours alone and your privacy is our priority.

1. Zero Data Collection Policy

We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data or your thoughts. Mind Droplet is designed to be a completely private and secure space.

• Local Storage: All notes and thoughts you enter are stored locally on your device's internal database. We do not have the technical means to access, read, or track this data.
• No Personal Identification: The App does not require registration, accounts, or any personal information (such as name, email, or phone number) to function.

2. Local Reports and Insights

Any analysis or reports regarding your thought patterns are generated and stored exclusively on your device. While external processing may be used to generate these insights (see Section 4), the final result is saved locally, and no data regarding your stored insights is ever kept on our servers.

3. Data Storage and Temporary Sharing

Since we do not collect your data, we do not provide cloud backup services. Data management is the user's responsibility.

• Optional Temporary Sharing: If you explicitly choose to use the "Share via Link" feature:
  • The specific note is encrypted and hosted temporarily on our server.
  • You must set an expiration time for the link to be created.
  • You may optionally add a password and a view limit for extra security.
  • Data is automatically and permanently purged from the server once the expiration or limit is met.
• No Link to Identity: These temporary shares are anonymous and never associated with any personal user profile or device identifier.

4. AI Features and User Choice

Mind Droplet offers optional AI-powered tools for pattern analysis, reports, and text improvements (powered by Google Gemini API).

• User-Initiated: These features are entirely optional and only activate if you voluntarily choose to generate a report or use an AI tool.
• Transient Processing: When used, the specific text fragment is sent encrypted to the API for real-time processing. This data is processed transitively and is not stored on external servers.
• Local Ownership: Once the AI generates the insight, it is sent back to the App and saved only on your device.
• Full Control: If you choose not to use these optional AI tools, the App remains 100% offline for all note processing. You can delete any AI-generated reports at any time from your local storage.

5. Third-Party Libraries

We use essential third-party libraries (such as those for crash reporting and app performance) to ensure App stability.

• Technical Data Only: These libraries may process technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, and anonymous usage statistics) according to their own privacy policies.
• No Access to Content: These third-party services never have access to your private notes, thoughts, or any text entered into the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Mind Droplet is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

• No Data Collection: Since we do not collect personally identifiable information from any user, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
• Parental Guidance: If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child is using the App, they can simply delete the App from the device to remove all locally stored data.

Insights provided by the App are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for the content you create and how you interpret the locally generated analysis.
